ELEGANT THURSDAY WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF ZDRAVA KAMENOVA
The actress and playwright Zdrava Kamenova is the new guest in the popular series Elegant Thursday. The theme of the series at the beginning of the year is The Grand Smiles of the Bulgarian Stage. Already at the start of February, we will have the pleasure to touch one of the most popular voices, whose tembre we have heard in a number of world-famous films such as "Home Alone" and "Star Wars - The Clone Wars".
Zdrava is the proud winner of the "Icarus" Prize for her role in the performance "Karlsson and the Little Brother". A few years later she won the prize again, but this time for Dramaturgy with her play "Praechidno".
In 2022, Zdrava received the prestigious German literary prize Brücke Berlin. The prize is awarded for contemporary fiction from Central and Eastern Europe. Zdrava Kamenova won in the dramaturgy category for her play "A Home for Sheep and Dreams".
The reaction of the audience is what charges the actress with energy and an even greater desire to be on stage. The vehicle which transports the text onto stage, however, are spontaneously told stories and unexpected encounters. Thanks to them, Zdrava is the author of more than 25 theatre texts which were dramatized with huge success on small and large stages - "When rock was young", "A Home for sheep and dreams", "The hit of the season" and others.
