Assoc. Prof. Georgi Lozanov was born in 1958 in Sofia in the family of famous architects. He is a philosopher by education, a media expert and lecturer in Theory of Culture, Media Publicity, Press Photography, Lifestyle Journalism and other subjects at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication and at the Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. He is the Director of the Cultural Communications Directorate at BTA. He was a long-time member and Chair of the national media regulator SEM, head of the Department of Press Journalism and Book Publishing, deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper Kultura, editor-in-chief of the Egoist magazine, host of the author's TV show The Unusual Suspects, curator of exhibitions etc.
Assoc. Prof. Lozanov is the author of hundreds of scientific, critical and journalistic publications and the books "As I Should Be", "My Right" and "Earthly Happiness". He was a columnist for the Standard newspaper and for the 24 Hrs newspaper.
